and online traffic after the Animal Planet segment. Almost immediately, one of our facebook friends alerted us to the show. Fortunately for us, it was not immediately clear whose dog wheelchair was featured. Similarly, we were thrilled to see our K-9 Cart dog wheelchair on the Today Show, even if our name was never mentioned. But spreading the word about wheelchairs as an option to pet owners is as Martha Stewart has always said, "a good thing."

So I have no idea how WBOC-TV16 came to want to do a segment on our little business in Oxford, MD. I am glad they did not make the request on April 1st - lest we would have thought it was a crafty April's Fools Day joke. But they showed up on Friday April 2, 2010 in the afternoon on a beautiful Spring Day. Although Jamie in our shop did not want to be filmed, he was on tape more than anyone as he made adjustment to "Shadow" Wilkins corgi cart. At 13 years, Shadow has had his share of treats and pampered treatment. So he tired quickly in his new cart. I breathed a sigh of relief that Shadow was a cooperative soul unlike the corgi we saw earlier in the week that was more interested in biting us that trying the his new doggie wheelchair. All-in-all we had a great time with the film crew. Our hope is that the video will be seen by many and could create that epidemic or tipping point that has us overwhelmed with canine cart orders. But for now, we are happy just to hear how much happiness our business has brought to so many two- and four-footed friends.
